Situation
A golf course and resort management company wanted to reduce the time it took to make buying decisions each year and increase consistency across the organization.

Intervention
Through the development of a structured process for compilation and evaluation of suppliers, Andrew enabled the client to develop a pre-qualified suppliers list through the creation of a standard process and a form to be completed. The capabilities of each supplier were evaluated and if they were approved, they were added to the pre-qualified list. When products or services were needed, suppliers were chosen directly from the list, thus simplifying the buying process.

Resolution
Productivity will increase and results will improve, as only qualified suppliers will be selected. The company will gain access to more suppliers wanting to do business with them, creating a more competitive environment and improving return on investment.
