Case 2: Development of standard policies
Situation
A healthcare service provider wanted to ensure that it was following leading procurement practices in advising its customers on policies and procedures to be followed.

Intervention
Through structured workshops, group coaching and the development of a standard procurement policies document, Andrew was able to raise the level of competency in the department and implement a standard set of policies across the organization. This allowed the employees to focus more of their time on building stronger customer relationships as well as increase the confidence level of customers and suppliers through the ability of the employees to provide value-added expertise.

Resolution
Customer and employee satisfaction increased as a result and the client was able to attract new customers. Increased value for money was achieved through improved supplier relationships and quality of responses.
