The hardest thing about maintaining discipline is when life throws you a curve.

It could be discipline about going to the gym, reading the newspaper, calling prospects, or even writing a blog.

Discipline is easy to have when there are no distractions, so how do you maintain that discipline when you have too many distractions?

You prioritize, plain and simple. If you have too many priorities, then nothing is a priority. Pick three things and act on them. That will be more productive than trying to move 10 things forward at once.

Step back, identify three priorities and be disciplined about moving forward on them. By doing this you remove the other distractions because you have not identified the priorities (not had them identified for you).

See? Wasn’t that easy?
